  2. So, the blog…

I’ve written a blog, called Type for Tripe, and would like you to read it. It’s supposed to be a stereotype-record, something to read and relate to while you’re in college, but the last thing I penned was more about what I’m up to/what I believe.

I’m in a contemplative mood because I’ve been reading Chuck Palahnuik’s Invisible Monsters. SUCH a good book- the little of it that I’ve read.

    So, take a look: http://typetripe.blogspot.com

And another look at my new article for the examiner: http://www.examiner.com/article/not-romantic-but-important

    Cheers,

    K

In the Sims, you don’t say, “I love you.” You say, “Habadu bashubi,” which roughly translates to, “I cannot move because there is furniture in the way.” I think that’s absolutely beautiful.

‘But I think people still think that I’m like my character, or that because I like girly things and I have a lilt in my voice that I’m dumb. But I don’t think you can be dumb and write a big chunk of a TV show. I think of myself as a smart and funny person, but I am very girly, and in the past I’ve been hurt by people who criticise me for liking things they think are beneath me, like shopping or whatever, and the people who give me the hardest time about it are women. I think it may be because there are so few women in comedy and so there’s a feeling that we shouldn’t sell women out, but I don’t see talking about fashion as selling women out’ -
